I’ve received a couple of offers to be a guest on a podcast, and there are some I am looking forward to, but there were many others where I probably wasn’t the right fit. However, there was one gentleman who I couldn’t say no.
I was incredibly fortunate to have John Kelly with the “Sometimes Heroes Need Help Podcast“ as a host who made the process very easy. We discussed a broad range of topics that included some of my background in law enforcement but primarily focused on the current state and the future of policing. His knowledge, research, and preparedness caused this 30-minute session stretch to just over an hour.
About my host: Sgt. John Kelly (Ret.) stands apart in the crowded space of officer wellness and trauma mitigation with the unique message encouraging the next generation to avoid self-inflicted wounds. Following a distinguished and challenging career in law enforcement, he has established himself as an author, speaker, trainer, and life coach. Thank you again John for this opportunity.
Please go to his website and check out his previous guests in his library of previous podcasts. As always, please keep all of our officers in your prayers.
Congrats! And agree that the host really does make the difference. : )
