After I retired I became an Uber driver for the past 8 1/2 years. I have 21 possibly 22,000 rides now, the vast majority of my passenger smoke EVERY DAY they need to smoke before they go to work my car constantly smells of weed. Then they need to smoke before they go home. I tell people every day you should ask yourself why does your government want you Stoned ! I serve a large area east side west side suburbs they’re not waking up. I think it’s safe to say a crack dealer. Does less harm than a marijuana dealer with a business degree.

Addiction predisposed people will abuse anything.

Marijuana is not the problem.

Trying to end abuse of available recreational intoxicants, fostered by political avarice is. Citys and states vote farm addiction poverty. Votes can be bought just by allowing inexpensive intoxicants.

No different than buying votes.

Here is where it gets fun.

There are people who like pot and freedom....

And expect to have both. And vote like that.

Just make it legal. Just make it legal. Just make it legal.

Stop criminals who abuse freedom.

Excellent piece. I wonder if some of same analysis — less stress & anxiety off the drug — would also apply to screen time.

Screen time is the enemy of any type of disciplined attention. How does a book compete with a brain conditioned to receive a dopamine hit every seven seconds.
