I never trust organizations or individuals that constantly harp on about what they're 'against' but never state what they stand 'for'.

With groups like these, including Antifa and BLM, you'll never see them actively dedicating their own resources to doing anything of benefit to anyone in any tangible or positive manner. It's always an abstraction for them. That way they don't really have to do anything and can always pass the buck of responsibility to everyone else. I mean, they've done their part, right? Whiners.

Antifa is decentralized and informal as far as a leadership structure. It's simply a defense strategy to keep anyone from climbing the rope to discover what, or who, is at the upper echelons. But that's all.

It's not like the US decentralized structure regarding power.

The French and Belgian Resistance groups in WWII were organized and operated much the same way.

I think Antifa's 'lower echelons' are mostly malcontents and wannabees using the organization as a means to an end for their own purposes with no real commitment to the Antifa 'cause'. But this likely suits the leadership's purposes just fine. Think 'Red Guard'.

As to their purpose, I think it may only to be to create distrust and disillusionment in the public (the gullible public) for the current public institutions, starting with municipalities. If they can paint municipalities as completely inept or negligent, then it should be easy to sue them out of existence. The only way to do this is with the approval of the public. Read up on General Giap's strategy to get America out of Vietnam. The collaboration (or gullibility) of the press is paramount in the strategy.

Although this might work in large cities, I don't see it ever happening in the smaller, more rural areas.

I do think that Antifa and all their friends are going to be surprised in the US if they try to go 'direct'. About one-third of Americans own the lion's share of an estimated 466-plus *million* firearms, and most of *them* are conservative or conservative leaning. Sure, get rid of the police. The problem *will* be solved. Law and order *will* be re-established, and like never before.

So yeah, better training and education of officers is going to be the first step in addressing all this.

The more trustworthy LE agencies become the more the public (the smart ones) will be behind them.
