Leadership from the city government to the chief of police and his minions is the problem w/ in the San Antonio Police Department. The asst. City Mgr. who’s running public safety has her hand in way more than she should be; promotions, officer discipline, etc. The chief either has lost autonomy and or he’s a coward. When officer UOF draws public disapproval, the department will wash their hands of the officers before a thorough investigation so they can tell the anti-police whiners they got rid of the “problem” without a complete, honest and thorough investigation. It kills morale and prevents anyone from applying to be a police officer.
